mangia mangia

Besides being Italian for "eat," it is also a term used in India to put glass shards and other sharp items on the string for their kite fighting competitions. Mangia is used to ruin the other kite's string, or the kite itself.

No wonder my two Indian coworkers shuddered when I told them "mangia! mangia!" when presenting them home made cookies.

Cookies of the week:

cranberry walnut
white chocolate hazelnut caramel
s'mores
chocolate chip A (white chocolate/chocolate swirled chips)
chocolate chip B (caramel / chocolate swirled chips )

+ surprisingly delicious low-carb peanut butter/chocolate brownies.
